About
Safeword is a long form improv troupe that creates stories and comedic scenes inspired by audience suggestions. Shows usually consist of one or two ‘slow’ scenes that last 10-15 minutes each. The group will often interrupt these longer monoscenes with shorter, more energetic, and often absurd scenes that illustrate points that might need some explaining.
Visit the Safeword page at the Washington Improv Theater for an interview we did in April 2008.
